The Indiana Suicide Prevention & Awareness Summit brings together professionals, advocates, and community members from across the state to learn, connect, and collaborate on strategies to save lives. The Summit offers education on the latest research, best practices, and innovative approaches in suicide prevention while fostering dialogue to reduce stigma and build stronger support networks. Together, we work toward creating a safer, more supportive Indiana where hope and help are always within reach.

The Call for Proposals for 2026 is now Open!

We are excited to launch the call for proposals for the 2026 Indiana Suicide Prevention and Awareness Summit in Indianapolis! The summit will be held at the Wyndham Indianapolis West Conference Center campus on August 5th, 2026, with options for additional education and connection events on August 4th.

The committee welcomes presentations on topics related to all aspects of suicide prevention and to reach all parts of our communities. The scheduling committee does ask that all presenters consider how they will incorporate the theme (Building Connections to Foster Thriving Communities) into their proposed session, but seeks proposals from a variety of perspectives and at varying levels of experience to help us make this the best Summit we can!

Proposals must be submitted in one setting here. If you’d like to see the questions ahead of time, you can do so here, along with the full Call for Proposal document here.

Proposals are due by May 11th – help us share and submit yours to help make the Summit the best it can be!

Below is the Program Guide from our 2025 Summit – as we get more details and the 2026 Program finalized, we’ll swap them out!
