Nominations for Awards is scheduled to open in early April. Award winners will be recognized at the 2026 Indiana Suicide Prevention & Awareness Summit on August 5, 2026, at Wyndham West Indianapolis during the lunch. Award winners are encouraged to attend.
Individuals nominated could be a service provider who goes beyond the care of a person and/or their family, connecting them to resources and promoting continuity of care. Nominees could be those who provide support for individuals or on behalf of others by navigating the mental health system or one who creates, promotes, or advocate for change in the community, state, or organizational policies that help prevent suicide and/or support mental wellness. The award winners should be someone who has championed suicide prevention and awareness in the state of Indiana. Award categories include Front Line Responder, Outstanding Community Connector, Suicide Prevention Advocate, and Champion of the Year.
The Wyndham Indianapolis West
The Wyndham Indianapolis West will be hosting this first Indiana Suicide Prevention & Awareness Summit on the westside of Indianapolis.
While the Fun & Connection Committee has a series of connection activities planned for both Thursday and Friday, they’ve also compiled a list of things you may be interested in exploring on your own!
